Insurance
Counseling Ordinary Courage is an out-of-network provider. Payment is required at the time of the session, unless agreed upon otherwise. If you wish to seek reimbursement for my services from your health insurance company, I will discuss my diagnosis with you and then provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance carrier. Insurance companies vary greatly in their coverage of “outpatient mental health services”, so I encourage you to call your provider to make certain that services can be reimbursed.
Appointments
Therapy sessions will not be extended due to late arrivals. A session may be canceled by telephone or email without charge if I am given notice 48 hours before the appointment time. You will be charged the full fee for a missed session or when cancellations are received less than 48 hours in advance. This ensures that I can see other clients in the opening and can plan accordingly.
Reduced Rates
I am a provider with WA Therapy Fund, where black-identifying folks can receive up to 8 free sessions of therapy.
